Good night. I will start this post by saying how tired I feel, gosh I'm knackered. My legs hurt and my arms, I guess its due to the things I did today. I'm gonna tell you about my day. But don't get excited cause it wasnt good or glamorous.(a glamours day? haha glamours sounds corny).

07:16 I got up, grouchy as usual.. I did dress up fast but I take ages to leave the house I dont know why but I dont like leaving, I procrastinate.

08:30 Waiting for the bus, I always miss it, when i turn the corner the bus is already there in the bus stop. I never run to get it, because drivers are MEAN, yes they might be unhappy with their job our personal life so they are not nice, if I run to get it they will close the door and leave and I will be like ' Fine I am not in a hurry anyway, I dont mind waiting for the next one.

09:00 I went to the post office, I wonder if someday I will arive at the post office and there wont be a queue, there is always a line of people, ALWAYS.

09:10 Went to get the bus to go to college, when the bus arrives I feel like I am in a jungle, people are not civilized when busses arrive at the bus stop, everyone wants to be the first to get in, so they act like animals pushing and etc. Some of them take too long to touch their oyster cards or to move down inside the bus. I found an available seat on the upper deck. Feeling tired I almost leaned my head against the glass window, that was when I looked at the glass and reminded myself that I should never do it because the glass is always dirty, there is always something like a white greasy liquid on it. I bet its something from peoples head, disgusting. I dont know if its due to the fact that people dont wash their heads or to some kinda of gel they use.

10:00 Arrived at college, didnt get the elevator I always climb the stairs. My classroom is in the third floor. Although climbing rounds of stairs makes me tired its better than getting the lift I dont think its really safe.

12:09 Lunch time, I went down to Costa (there is a costa in my college in the foyer)the coffee is cheaper there.

12:19 Got the bus to Camden Town, bought a skirt and pancakes.. oh haribo too. Then I got the bus to a part time job at hair salon. At work I haven't done much cause there wasnt much to be done.

04:50 Went back home, oh how good is going back home. Although when I got home I did a spring cleaning on my wardrobe and in my room; The results are my tired weak poor body, but the room is really comfy though.

Now its 00:55 and I am editing pictures for a project. I cant sleep even though I am so tired. I cant really understand it haha! Anyway have a good night and thanks for those who always comment on my posts, I like reading your comments and by the way I will stop being lazy and try to write more and reply to you guys or at least my emails.

Ps: Aah I found a four-leaf- clover today :)

Pop Diva - Straightening Tips

My princess recently saw a picture of Taylor Swift (who she LOVES) dressed almost exactly like this so she wanted to copy the look.  

I straightened her hair using a product called "Straight and Sexy" which we applied to the hair while it was still wet.  (Make sure you always protect the hair with some type of product before using hot irons.) 

 I began by completely drying the hair using a round brush and making sure to not get the hair dryer any closer than 8 inches away from her hair.   I then straightened it from root to end using a 1 inch ceramic flat iron. 

 I curled the bottom of the hair under using the same flat iron and just flipping it under at the end.  This helped to create a loose curl instead of something tight. 

Our last step was to throw on the sequin hat but this style is also beautiful with a headband.

What I wore, What I ate! yes this is what I wore, a primark hat, skirt from next and blouse from h&m. I also got some pictures developed today, no big surprise.

French Waterfall

A while ago I posted these instructions for the Topsy Tail Waterfall.  It had a very beautiful look but it was very loose so this is a bit of an updated version to that but this one does require the knowledge of the French Braid which the other does not. 

 I will give specific instruction for the hairstyle show here but you can use the French Waterfall as a headband, two braids or in any other form you like. 

Create an off-centered part that goes all the way back to the crown of the head.  Now create a parallel part 1/2 inch inside of the first and clip aside that new thin strip of hair. 

Create one more part parallel to the first two but make sire it's about 2-3 inches across the head.  Now you will create a French Braid out of the new section of hair (making sure to only gather hair from inside this parted section) and only add in hair until the crown of the hair.  Just finish plating a Regular 3-Strand Braid after that point.  Secure it at the end with a temporary elastic. 

 Now grab your Topsy Tail and that thins strip of air that you set aside.  Poke your Topsy Tail through the first plate of the French Braid and feed a bit of hair from your thin strip directly through it.

 Do this again with the second plate and so on until your entire thin strip has been fed through the plates of the French Braid. 

 Now brush all of the hair down to the nape of the neck and secure it with an elastic - making sure to include the braid.  Take the temporary elastic out of the braid and brush it into the ponytail.  Now braid the ponytail and secure it at the end with one final elastic.  Add some hair clips to finish it off.  

Flashback Friday: Wet-Pinned Curls

Wet-Pinned Curls can take some time to prep for but they have such a beautiful final look.  Start with the hair really wet and make sure you pull it up into any initial style before creating your curls.  Grab a box of bobby pins to have at your side before you start. 

Section out some mall pieces of hair - they can be medium or small, depending on how think you would like your curls.  Starting with the end of the hair, wrap it in a circular motion all the way up to the scalp and then pin it against the head using two bobby pins to create an "X" for maximum hold.  Your curls can be would as tightly or as loosely as you like just depending on how large or small you want your curls.  Continue wrapping and pinning sections of hair all around the head.  When you are finished your princess will resemble a 20's Flapper with all the wet tight curls against her head.  I wish I had taken a picture at this point but back in the day I never had a reason to do that!  :)  The hair will take about 3 hours to set.  (You can speed up that time by using a warm dryer to dry the hair.) 

When you're ready, take the pins out of the hair and let the curls fall loosely.  Spray the hair with a bit of hairspray to help hold the curls and you're all finished!

That is pretty much what I am doing today, except there is no sunlight. It's raining outside, thundering too and I gotta say I love that.
